Restoration Technician: As a restoration technician, you are the face and frontline for the company. You will be responsible for the overall restoration of the project. This includes responding to emergencies, working with teams to physically restore a property back to its original condition.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform restoration work on residential and commercial properties
  • Perform physical labor including but not limited to demolition, cleaning, packing, containments, and moving contents
  • Brief customers on job site specific damages and help them sign paperwork
  • Perform routine job site inspections; coordinate with clients
  • Available to work on-call when scheduled; available to respond to projects 24/7 during assignment
  • Manage inventory of equipment & items in the field & in vehicle; maintain a clean and presentable workspace
  • Assess job sites regularly for safety hazards and proceed according to company and OSHA certified guidelines

Qualifications

  • Water damage restoration experience
  • Bilingual required (English and Spanish)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good physical health condition – must be able to regularly lift 50+ pounds and work in a multitude of workspace environments
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • No criminal record
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Positive attitude

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. IICRC and OSHA certifications are a recommended. 

Travel Required: Travel to job sites will be routine. Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Perform sales and marketing activities including add-on sales and security checks. Communicate and establish relationships with commercial, insurance and residential customers. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse and office areas.

Results Expected: Production processes are performed according to SERVPRO production guidelines. Job documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Production costs are maintained at the established rate. Add-on sales are made to customers. Communications to Owner/Project Manager and customer are timely. Jobs are completed either meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Vehicles, equipment, and facilities remain clean and orderly.

Monitor and follow-up on all assigned jobs ensuring that customer needs are met. Communicate and establish rapport with commercial, insurance and residential customers.

Results Expected: Crews are effectively managed to maximize production. Production processes are performed according to guidelines. Documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Production costs are maintained at the established rate. Additional sales are made to customers. Both internal and external communications are timely and effective. Jobs are completed either meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
